About Myrtle Clarimond
Please note Myrtle and Romilda Clarimond are bonded British Shorthair besties who are looking for a forever home together.
If you were to look up the definition of sweetness in the dictionary, we are pretty sure you would see a picture of Myrtle! She is such a gorgeous girl - so loving, gentle and kind with beautiful markings on her coat and a pretty little face.
Myrtle is a giant love-bug who adores people, she loves receiving pats and affection and will look up at you with her sweet eyes and soft meow asking for more please. She is not demanding or high maintenance though and also enjoys resting and napping on her own or with her sister Romilda. Whilst not comfortable actually being picked up, she dearly loves her pats and time spent with you.
Myrtle is a naturally curious and fairly confident cat who likes to greet visitors and explore her home environment and really loves to play with her toys when the mood takes her. It is very amusing to watch her proudly dragging her toy on a stick around, with the stick part trailing behind. She also loves to have a good game of chasey with Romilda, they are an adorable and amusing pair.
After being let down by humans in the past Myrtle and her sister are looking for a relaxed and nurturing forever home and would suit a mature household looking for two very precious little companions.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
