Jericho

Jericho is a gentle little boy who tires much quicker than his two sisters. He has a really gentle nature and finds it a bit difficult when things get too hectic in the playroom. He is smart enough to find himself a quiet spot to retire to in those instances. Usually when I see him flagging I pick him up and give him a cuddle which he just adores. He loves to watch events unfolding from a nice safe lap! Having said that he is very playful and just as confident as his sisters with the bigger dogs and other puppies. Jericho will need his own special person to be faithful and loyal to. That's just the sort of guy he is.

Jericho came into care with 2 of his littermates, after being surrendered to the local Animal Control Officer. He was born in Ampilatwatja, but is now in foster care with his littermates and a bunch of other dogs and puppies in Elliott NT. Like his littermates he is very small and we would be surprised if he were to grow bigger than 10 kg as a fully grown dog. Jericho is crated overnight with his littermates and sleeps through the night already, such a clever boy...

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Jericho's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Jericho is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
