About Milo
*ON TRIAL* Milo is a quiet little soul who likes to curl up next to you on the couch. She enjoys gentle pats and just being wherever you are.
Dear, sweet little Milo would like a peaceful home where she can retire and be doted on by her favourite person: you.
Sometimes, when you make a fuss of her, her inner puppy resurfaces and she leaps in the air like she has springs for legs and then does zoomies around the house. These little displays of joy are exquisitely endearing in this older, usually reserved lady.
Although it’s recently been discovered that a ball also brings out her inner puppy!
Milo would prefer to be an only dog and cannot be placed with cats. I am told that in her day she was a master snake killer and quite the athlete. She now has some arthritis in her knees so likes to take it easy and potter around the place trailing her favourite person, taking in the elusive doggy sniffs that detect magical details of which we’ll forever be unaware.
This refined lady has a very short, low-maintenance, single-layer coat and as such doesn’t seem to shed much. She is mostly toilet trained but will need supervision to enforce this in her new surrounds.
I suspect there are traces of Italian Greyhound in this lovely girl, with her lean, athletic figure and her elegant, long legs and muzzle but her gorgeous prick ears belie some other influence. One can only guess at her mystery genealogy.
At the age of 11, her silly days are long gone but being a small dog she will still have plenty of time to spend with you, as little dogs often have quite long lifespans.
Do you think you could share your retirement with sweet Milo? Older dogs are such great company. If you are interested in this loyal little mate, please see the application instructions below.
Medical notes
Milo has arthritic knees which give her a bit of a stiff gait at times, but being the clever dog she is she has worked out that if she carries most of her weight on her front half she can get around quite well and she does enjoy short walks.
Milo has a beautiful new set of pearly white after her dental scale and polish and has had a couple of rotten teeth removed.
Adoption details
Please email me a little bit about yourself. I do not operate on a first-in-best-dressed basis. Instead, my aim is to find the most suitable forever home for the animals in my care.
Your email should include details about who lives at your home, both humans and animals and what their daily schedules and living arrangements are like. It should include details about your previous dogs and a thorough break down of the house rules you will have for this pet as well as what their typical day will look like.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
