About Nambin
The gorgeous Nambin is a wonderful little pup. She is the full package - really endearing and sweet, sociable and naturally well behaved. She is intelligent too, and learns her lessons very quickly indeed. She is in foster with puppies that are much younger than her, young adult dogs and a few grumpy old ones as well. She is so smart about finding her place in the group. She is playful and gentle with the little pups who really love her, respectful and polite with the younger adults, and wise enough to stay away from the grumpy old ones. If she happens to offend one of them and gets disciplined she takes it on the chin and just gets on with it.
This adorable little girl would make a great family dog. She loves to be included in everything and is gentle in nature. We could see her running around with some kids and having a ball. She also loves a cuddle and will curl up on a dog bed with one or two of her mates, or enjoy some lap time on the couch in the evening. She is used to sleeping on the end of the bed and sleeps through the night. If she wakes up too early you can just cuddle her up and she will go back to sleep for a little while, which is nice is you want a sleep in. She is great off lead - enjoys exploring but stays close and has great recall too. This little girl is really cooperative and eager to please.
Nambin comes fro one of the Tennant Creek town camps. She was brought in to the local Vet with parvovirus infection and successfully treated, but her owner did not return for her, so we took responsibility for her treatment costs and brought her in for convalescence and rehoming. We have kept her a lot longer than we needed too in case her owner came forward, but that has not happened, so we feel it is time to let her find her place in the world.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Nambin's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Nambin is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
