About Joey
Joey is a quiet but playful little man. He is the kind of dog you give a two year old to walk as he waits patiently for them to catch up. He loves to play with other dogs and was initially a little possessive of his food with dogs but has learnt to share. He is learning to play with toys and thinks they are strange but exciting. He is a happy quiet thoughtful little man.
Medical notes
Joey has one eye that has a slight strabismus- a weak muscle in the corner of his eye. It is not a problem for him, he can still see perfectly.
He has had his soft palpate resected so he can breath more easily but he will always be a brachycephalic breed which is susceptible to airway problems. The surgery reduces the risk but does not cure the problem. He will appreciate airconditioning, and walks in the cool of the afternoon.
Adoption details
When you have seen your special new friend that you would like to meet, please email us and we will send an adoption application to applicants we believe are suitable.
Animals with lots of interest will be online for two weeks before being put on hold while the meet and greet process takes place. Overall adoption process can take up to five weeks from time of listing.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
