Pirate(now Lyra)

My name is Pirate and I'm part of a very large family having 11 other siblings.

I am full of energy, very inquisitive and love to play. I'm currently learning this neat trick called toilet training. I have not had an accident inside for 2 weeks, but I still have a little learning to go so you will need to be patient with me. Because I'm super smart, observant and quick to learn, it won't take me long - I promise.

I'm crate trained and love food. This will make it easier for you to teach me all sorts of cool tricks.

As you will notice beside the cute patch on one eye and my spotty ears, I am all white, therefore I will burn easily. Long exposure to the sun is not an option and I need adequate shade and protection.

Being curious, I do love to explore. I have some great hiding places in my foster home, but I would love a doggy brother or sister to keep me company and to learn from.

I would need my family to invest time into ongoing puppy/training obedience classes. This will give me confidence, assist with my socialisation skills and learn good manners that every dog should know.

My new family will include me in as many activities as they can and must be allowed inside as I should be part of the family and not just a pet. I do love a cuddle on the couch and kisses on my head.

I'm very friendly and not shy but I will grow into a large dog so only large dog lovers to apply.

I know my forever family is out there, lucky I'm a patient pup.
