Woof! Hello my name is Maxy.

I am an older gentleman who has found himself in the shelter environment. It has been a very overwhelming experience, but the staff and volunteers at Blue Cross have spent a lot of time giving me the attention, cuddles and TLC that I need.

I am such a happy little chap! My tail is always wagging and I absolutely love going for walks. I may be 13, but I still love getting my daily exercise in. My favourite thing to do, however, is too cuddle under the blankets with you! Oh and receiving a good ear scratch, cannot forget about the ear scratch. I do appear to be a little deaf.. which is not unusual for a dog my age.
