About Bubba Boo ~ Maltese X (on trial 26/2/2018))
My name is Bubba Boo and I am a 7 year old Maltese cross boy dog. I weigh 7 kilos and am bigger than your usual Maltese.
I am very affectionate, I enjoy being cuddled by my foster family and am very well behaved with children. I have been around 12, 8 and 6 year old children. I have not been exposed to cats or other small animals.
I am a quiet dog, only barking when there is someone coming into the yard.
I would ideally suit a home with another dog for company. I currently live with 3 small dogs and get along well with them. I have been sleeping in my foster mum's bedroom on a blanket on the floor with my teddy bear. I love to carry my teddy bear around during the day and snuggle up with it at night.
I am a very clever boy and can climb a timber fence and go into the neighbour's yard. I don't run away I just like to climb. I can only be adopted to a home with colourbond fences or six foot timber fence with no footholds.
I eat dog biscuits with a little chicken. I also love Schmackos. I do not fuss when being bathed. I am learning very quickly to walk on the lead, when my foster mum first puts a lead on me I just stopped walking and sat down, but now with encouragement I am walking slowly. I need to have a harness to walk and a collar with my dog tag with your details, so I can be easily found if I do get lost.
My foster mum Robyn describes me as an affectionate, beautiful, clever and very sociable dog. If you are looking for a medium sized, affectionate dog then please contact my foster mum Robyn on 0409 124 886 or robynstarkey30@gmail.com. Bubba Boo is in foster care in Fennell Bay, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Bubba Boo’s adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
