About Boss
If you like your Blueys Boss is your man! Very typical heeler, Boss is loyal, friendly, a little cheeky and very smart.
Boss is very responsive and tries to do the right thing. He is cheeky and friendly, snuggly and affectionate. Boss likes playing with the ball and loves playing with the other dogs
House trained. Boss has been left in the house with the back door open all day with no issues. Not destructive at all.
Boss is good with horses sheep etc but not allowed in the paddock. He is good with fences but may go for a wander if there is a hole or gap. Comes back readily. Good with the chickens providing they are in a run. Quite interested in the cats so his foster carer keeps them separate..
Boss is fostered with Bella, who is also up for adoption, his foster carer has said they are such lovely dogs that she doesn't want them to go!... even though she has four other dogs, that they also get along with.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
