About Bells
My Name is Bells
I am very timid and fear new people I have trust issues.
Bells needs someone who can give her the time and patience to gain her trust.
She would suit being with someone who is home alot or has another dog for company when no ones home. I would not suit a family who works full time.
Bells wants to spend all her time with her humans, she likes to be a little shadow. Seen but not heard.
Bells is not a lap dog but is happy to lay next to you on the lounge and cuddles up in bed. She wakes me up in the mornings with kisses 😘
Bells has really come out of her shell and runs around playing chasing games with me, she has a fun nature and will play for ages.
She must be teething as she chews up everything... paper, books, cords 😬
She is learning basic commands and learning to walk on a lead. She is rather a clever girl. She loves playing with her toys and loves going in the car.
Bell's toilet training is coming a long well.
She is happy to be around cats and small dogs she hasn't met a big dog yet.
I prefer to not be around children as they do scare me and I don't like to be carried.
I like to do things at my pace which is nice and slow.
Adoption details
If you should choose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue:
You will be asked to complete an adoption application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog is suited to your circumstances. Some dogs have special needs so we are looking for the perfect forever home for all of our dog's needs.
After you have completed and returned the adoption application we decide if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next, we will arrange for you to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that bring along your family and any other animals you have in your household. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
The adoption fee must be paid before any of our animals are released from our care.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if you have any issues with your chosen dog/puppy you must contact SEQ K9 Rescue via text immediately.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to the rescue organisation, the adoption fee minus a $50 non-refundable deposit will be refunded. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the pet is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the animal. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If an animal is to return from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue in Brisbane.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
