Shyla

*ON TRIAL* This tiny little baby is so adorable you’ll want to squish her all day. I can tell you now, she won’t mind a bit!

Shyla has the unusual colouration of a possum and looks just like one! She is a timid little soul who loves her chosen person absolutely. She will follow you around everywhere you go and give a little grumble when she wants you to lift her on to the couch.

Her fur is so plush and soft and her gorgeous doe eyes so endearing that it’s hard not to fall in love with her at first sight.

When you make a fuss of her she emits hilarious little snorts of approval.

Shyla has been relatively good off lead at the park but can get a bit distracted at times. Who could blame her, the world is so big and wonderous when you’re 2 kilos small!

While she prefers the company of people she has coexisted with numerous dogs well here. She is intimidated by big dogs, so I will be looking for a home where she is the only dog or where she has the companionship of another tiny canine soul.

Shyla, in her last life, befriended a neighborhood cat and they would sleep in her kennel together. If you have cats, they must be dog friendly as most are double her size.

Shyla is good with older children, but given how petite she is they must be respectful and not treat her like a toy as she is fragile and defenceless.

Please bear in mind that Chihuahuas can have extremely long lives, so anyone who applies must be 100% committed to her for the next 15 years.
