About Charlie
Charlie is just a big black beautiful hound, weighing around 36 kilo's, who loves lying regally on his shag pile bed. Although he is greying around the muzzle being a senior boy of 10 years turning 11 this May, he is still a striking looking boy and the biggest puppy at heart. He would be an ideal member in a family who have older kids, as he does love to rest in a quiet chilled out environment. This is not to say Charlie doesn't like to romp around and have a little gallop here and there!
He gets along with other medium to large dogs, especially other hounds but at the moment he doesn't tolerate small dogs or kitties for that matter.
He is a wonderful traveller, quite happy with a few hours in the car as well as up to the local shops and back. He likes walks, possibly not miles and miles, but a little meander out to see his world, and walks well on a lose lead.
He is well behaved and is house trained. Once he knows where he is allowed to go, he will make no mistakes.
He is quite happy to be left through the day and has no separation problems and isn't distructive. Charlie though would be very happy and comfy to be an inside doggy as he loves human company.
Charlie would just love a family to call his own and his new family would have so much fun and lovely forever times. He is just the sweetest, chilled out guy!
