About Vic
Vic and his siblings, Mikaela and Jess, arrived at the shelter on the 5th Nov 2017. They were only 1.5 weeks old, tiny little orphaned babies that needed round the clock care. Mikaela was the biggest, and was a real fighter! She drank the most, is always the first to reach you, and had the roundest little milk belly. Jess her sister was the steadiest, she grew slowly but was the easiest to feed. Unlike Mikaela that tried to drink too fast and got milk all over herself, Jess would calmly suckle away, she's such a good baby. Vic the boy arrived as the runt, a tiny, scrawny and helpless little guy, nobody thought he would make it, but we gave it our best shot! He did not take to the bottle at all, some days we couldn't give him a drop of milk and tried fluids. It's not easy injecting a teensy little baby bunny, and boy could he put up a fight, weak as he was! He wheezed his way through the days, struggling to breathe, but despite the odds came through and is fighting fit today. These three siblings are super friendly as you'd expect, never having to fear humans and seeing us from the moment they opened their eyes. They are agile, cheeky and super playful. Quite headstrong I must admit, given their earlier struggles in life they do tend to get away with quite a bit. These buns would be great adopted together, or as a friend for an existing bun. As they are still too young, they will need to be desexed at a later date, however will be vaccinated for adoption. Very special homes are needed for these little miracles!
