About Banjo
Meow! My name is Banjo, but you can call me Handsome.
Every time I look in the mirror, I thank my cat ancestors for my good lookin’ genes. I mean, I’ve got such a luxurious fur coat and my eyes shine like diamonds in the sky. How could someone not want me as part of their family?
Well unfortunately, that is the case. I was surrendered to Blue Cross, and it has been a difficult adjustment as the shelter environment has been very overwhelming. Initially I can be quite shy, but take the time to get to know me and I will definitely greet you with some loud purrs.
I’m getting on in the years, and at 9 years old I have had a few medical issues recently. I’ve been told by Mr Vet that I need to gain a few kilos.. I suppose you could say I am a fussy eater. Dry kibble just doesn’t cut it these days when you can get cooked chicken instead.
Mr Vet isn’t quite sure why I am not gaining weight, but as a senior citizen in the feline world, I am prone to medical issues. Doesn’t stop me from being Handsome though!
If you are interested in adopting me, or would like to know more information, please contact Blue Cross Animals Society of Victoria!
Medical notes
Please call Blue Cross Animals Society to speak to one of our Animal Attendants in regards to Banjos health.
