Hello there everyone, I'm Melody!
I was saved from the pound heavily pregnant and gave birth to 7 healthy and adorable kittens. I have now finished doing all my mummy duties and I am now looking for my own forever home.
I have learnt that most humans are pretty awesome, unlike my previous owners who dumped me at the pound because I was pregnant. That scared me, so much I don't want to describe it.
I am such a good girl, I have never had any accidents, I always use my litter tray but it needs to be kept clean for me. I don't scratch or bite. If you are patient with me, I will even cuddle and spoon you at night. I love to explore and be up high, I love to sit on the cat tower watching you. I don't mind other cats but like any feline I need time to warm up to them. My belly does get a little sensitive so no supermarket brands for me please!
I'm not really keen on big loud dogs or children, so over 10 years would be best for me.
I'm a laid back, inside only cat who will keep you company when you are lonely and snuggle with you when your feeling down.
I'm getting very tired now, so need a nap. Hoping we may meet in real life soon.
Yours truly,
Melody, meow.

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
