About Zara ~ 13 month old Staffy X (on trial 28/2/2018)
Meet Zara, a 13 month old Staffy X. Zara is a friendly, happy and easygoing girl, quite sensible for her age.
Zara is pretty goofy, especially with her toys. She absolutely loves playing tug of war. She is also a real water baby and doesn’t mind a good bath either. Zara is very easy to groom and will even her foster mum do her nails without much hassle.
Zara is not a barker and can keep herself occupied when left alone. She would suit a full time worker. She knows basic commands such as sit, lay down and into bed.
As Zara can be quite selective about which dogs she likes, we would suggest she was an only dog at her new home where she can be the star of the show.
Zara is very well mannered and loving, especially during inside time relaxing with family and getting her favourite belly rubs. She weighs 30kgs and because of her size we would suggest a home with kids over 12 years old.
Zara is an absolutely delightful girl and she would bring joy to any family.
For more information or to meet Zara, please contact her foster carer Jo on 0491 069 573 or
joconnolly75@gmail.com. Zara is in foster care in Cessnock area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Zara’s adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
