About Emmie
** ADOPTION PENDING **
PLEASE NOTE: Applications will be limited and we do not work on a first in first served basis. Thank you.
Woof! Hello, my name is Emmie.
Yes I know, I am the cutest little bundle of joy that you have ever seen. The staff and volunteers at Blue Cross tell me that every day! I think it's my eyes that draw people in, don't you?
Let me talk to you about my history. I was bought as a pup by an elderly lady who unfortunately was not a suitable owner for me. I never left the house and never went on a walk. I have never had any training or enrichment until I arrive at Blue Cross. They say I have a personality of a puppy!
The staff at Blue Cross have been spending time with me and doing positive reinforcement training and say I have been doing really well. I will need a family that continues regular dog obedience and dog socialisation training with me. I've met a few dogs at Blue Cross.. but it is quite an overwhelming experience.
As I have the Pug breed in me, I may be prone to Pug related medical issues in the future, so please ensure you do your research and are prepared for this possibility.
If my ideal family was too have children, I would prefer them to be school aged or older. I would also love to be rehomed to an active family that can give me once to twice daily exercise, as well as plenty of canine enrichment, as I have a lot of energy to burn.
Do I sound like the pooch for you? Please call Blue Cross Animals Society of Victoria to make an appointment to see me!
