River

River is a very gentle little soul. Even though she is very young she is really well behaved around the home and excellent with the big dogs and the older puppy, She just has naturally good manners. She is bigger and sturdier than her sister Snowy, loves her tucker, and loves to explore around the house and play with her sister and her toys. She is an intelligent little dog and will be very easy to train.

River comes from Ampilatwatja, surrendered to the Shire animal control officer when they were visiting. We are so glad that her former owners sent her sister Snowy with her because they have been a great comfort to each other. River will be a medium dog we think. She will make a great family pet and would enjoy the company of another dog too.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. River's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. She is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
