About Bailey ~3.5 year old Dalmatian (on trial 20/5/18)
Meet Bailey aka Master Bailey. He is a three and a half year old desexed male Dalmation. This beautiful boy is a stand out in the crowd kind of guy. Bailey loves having a house full of people to fuss over him, shower him with affection, lots of cuddles, kisses and loads of attention. He is thriving being included as part of a family unit and adores children/adults of all ages and is super gentle and affectionate.
Bailey sleeps on the bed, in the bed, draped across the couch, sprawled out on a nice big mattress, but rarely on a dog bed on the floor. That would just be beneath him, as he likes to stay super comfortable.
Bailey can be nervous around new furkids and will need someone confident and willing to put in some quality time in order to bring out the best in him. He needs firm but kind boundaries to show him that he is safe around other furkids and that life is great. Bailey currently shares the house and yard with 16 dogs/pups and although at first he found it little overwhelming, he has come ahead in leaps and bounds and is now loving the company of his new found friends.
Bailey is house trained, will sit when asked, come when called and has mastered entering and exiting the house when directed. Because Bailey is very intelligent, he learns quickly and has the potential to really shine if rewarded for his efforts.
Bailey can be nervous on the lead when there are other furkids about, but if he is redirected with a treat and some positive reinforcement he soon calms himself, and continues on his merry way. He looks to his human for direction and reassurance, so it would be great for Bailey to continue practicing his on the lead walks so he can stay confidant, relaxed and super happy.
Bailey will no doubt be very popular, but he will only go to the best of homes. If you would like to know more about Master Bailey or organise a meet and greet, feel free to contact Alina on 0497077160 or via email at claudeshowie@hotmail.com. Bailey is located at Windermere Park, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
Bailey’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
