Introducing Bailey a purebred Dalmatian who is two and half years old.
Bailey knows his basic commands and loves to learn so would benefit from further training.
This gentle boy has been an outside dog but since being in care has enjoyed his family time inside. He comes in and will just sit at your feet or next to you on the lounge while you watch TV. Bailey now sleeps inside and has not had any accidents but due to him being an outside dog may need some direction in this department. We know it won’t take him long as he is such a smart boy.
Bailey is alright with other dogs but he doesn't like them getting in his face, he may be fine with a quiet dog around, however, he does tend to like all the attention to himself so he's probably better suited to being an only dog. Bailey is more of a people dog and would do best with someone home most of the time to pay him some attention as he just loves company.
Bailey is timid outside of his environment and sometinmes unsure and will need training when he goes for a walk. He also does pull so he'll will benefit from a harness and someone who can handle his strength.
Bailey would suit an active home with children 5 years and older due to his size but he is absolutely perfect with people big and small. He would make the great companion for a retired couple that is still very active or someone that works from home and can include him as part of the family.
If you are interested in meeting this handsome fellow, please contact Donna on 0466 099 426 or by emailing Timmypebmilo@hotmail.com. Bailey is located in Swansea and is available for adoption interstate.
Bailey’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Happy and healthy dog
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
