About Macy
Calling all Neapolitan Mastiff fans.
Our beautiful girl Macy is ready to find a home of her very own. A gentle, kind and loving 3 year old girl who is looking for a cruisey and loving household.
She is good with other dogs but hasn't quite worked out how to play. So prefers to provide companionship rather than be a play mate.
Being so low energy she won't bug you for walks or runs, and is happy for a simple stroll. She can be quite nervous so a chaotic and noisy home isn't what she is looking for.
She will NEED to be an indoors girl, she isn't one to do well with being left outside. A home that wants a good natured and well mannered indoors dog is perfect for this girl. She is well toilet trained also and is happy to take herself outside to the toilet when need be. Macy has been a mumma in the past and is the mother of Mac and Betty (who have now been adopted), and has been bred many times over her young life so she does have some trouble with keeping her weight on and conditioning her body. So a good diet is essential for her to stay healthy and conditioned.
Macy is good with cats and will need to be rehomed with another dog. She has met a few kids and shows to be loving to them when they're dog savvy and patient with her. She can be nervous around males, so a soft male in the household would be perfect; but she will need a home with a female to help with comforting her.
Macy although does love a gentle walk, isn't suitable for off leash adventuring as can be spooked with ease. She isn't overly energetic so really would prefer to just snuggle on the lounge than go out and about.
She would suit acreage perfectly as she is great off leash and doesn't roam. But may suit a quiet suburban life also. Macy is around 45-50 kilos in size and fully grown, so a home looking for a large dog is what she needs. She is located in the lower hunter valley region of NSW and her adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
