About Mishka
SINGLE DOG HOME.
Good with children and cats.
Hi my name is Mishka, I’m a beautiful girl with pedigree papers which my new owners will be given a copy of.
Sadly I was attacked by another dog in a park, it was such a bad dog attack it was life threatening, so since then I am scared of other dogs which means I need to have an experienced dog owner who will work on my fear issues which is fixable if you will put in the effort. SRV will pay for special training for me to overcome my fears so I’m really hoping that there is someone out there that will love me enough to put in a little effort to help me.
I’ve lived with children from baby’s to toddlers and even though I’m very good with them I can accidentally knock them over. Oh and I’ve lived with a cat who was the boss.
I know how to sit & stay sitting, I know how to drop and stay, I’m good on the lead but can pull if you let me.
I love to sleep in mink blankets, my owner gets them from the op shop for me, I also love my shell pool, I dig in the water and splash it everywhere, it’s so much fun, I also love the hose and will play with it when it’s turned on, I love the staffy ball and bungee rope.
There are some notes below on my behavioural assessment but please only apply for me if you’re willing to give me the help I need.
Summary of Test –summary of observation and testing
• Mishka has a generally calm demeanour but still has a good level of activity for her age
• She is sociable with people but does require you to coax her over
• Tolerant of touch and restraint
• Normal wariness to raised voice and loud sounds
• Nil reaction to whistle
• Nil resource guarding evident at time of testing
• Some basic skills but is not overly responsive when there are competing distractions
• Recommend some training to help manage/control her reactivity levels
