About Odin
SINGLE DOG HOME
OLDER CHILDREN ONLY
OBEDIENCE A MUST
Hi my name is Odin, I’m a lovely young boy with pedigree papers. I need to go to obedience school to learn how to socialise along with training. I get very excited so I could accidentally knock young children over.
I like the car, I know how to sit but I get excited so I don’t stay sitting for too long.
I’m scared of storms and loud noises.
Unless you want to take me to obedience please don’t apply for.
There are some notes on my behavioural assessment below.
Summary of Test –summary of observation and testing
• Odin is a young and fit dog with a generally calm demeanour
• Generally sociable and comes in for a pat (rolls on his belly)
• Does jump up and nips at feet when arousal levels increase
• Tolerant to some level of touch but would need to exercise caution initially and until he gets to know you
• Some very basic obedience skills and is responsive to his name
• Nil reaction to noises and sudden environmental stimuli
• Some resource guarding of both food bowl and bones (more so with bones)
• Not reactive towards dogs he passes in the street but would recommend exercising caution and nil interaction with other male dogs
• Must attend basic obedience training due to young age and caliber of dog
Adoption Criteria
• Experienced and active people only
• May be too exuberant for young children – older children only.
