About Woody
Introducing Woody.
This lovely boy hasn't been with us for very long but is desperate to find a foster home or a place to call his own.
While he has been with us, Woody has started to develop his confidence and we know he will flourish in the right home, he is super affectionate with people, loves cuddled and very playful with other dogs his size. He is looking for an experienced and understanding family who are willing to give him the time he needs to adjust to his new lifestyle. Woody has had a rough start to life and this beautiful boy is now enjoying all the love and attention he is currently being offered.
He can be a little timid at first but settles in quickly and will then roll on his back for endless pats and cuddles.
Woody has shown to be extremely friendly with the other dogs he has met while he has been with us. He would love a home with acreage or a big back yard and he is an energetic boy who loves to run and play. High, secure fencing will be essential to ensure his safety while he is settling in with his wonderful new family.
Woody will need an active desexed doggy friend to keep him company and help him learn what a dog's life is all about so for this reason, homes where he will be an only dog will not be considered as we know it will be very important for Woody to have a confident friend.
As a result of the life he had before he came to us, Woody can be protective of food so he will need to be fed separately to other dogs in his new home. He is very loving and sensitive but doesn't currently understand that there is no longer a need to protect his food. In a patient home, he will learn that dinner will always be served.
In his foster home, Woody is allowed inside to spend lots of time with his humans. He is still learning his indoor manners as this is a completely different world to what he is used to. He has been doing really well trying to please his carers and all praise is exciting for him. He loves cuddles and feeling safe in his special indoor bed overnight.
Considering his breed, Woody loves to chase small animals as part of a game so a home with no small animals will be the best match for this young man.
He has not been around children before so a home with teenagers or adults will be more suitable for him.
Please contact us if you would like to know more about this special boy. He has proven to be very smart and with some training and further guidance, Woody will be a great addition to his new family.
He loves his walks and exercise and regular outings will be a great opportunity for Woody to continue his socialising and a great way to gain trust in his new people.
This adorable boy deserves a chance to be happy and loved.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
