Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Mary Gray the very pretty floofy cat!
Mary was found with her mum Winnie and Winnie’s kittens, and handed in. She came into care with Cat People, helped mum Winnie raise her kittens and a litter of orphans, now it’s Mary’s turn to get adopted.
Mary is a stunning cat, with her blue coat, white sox & bib, and her cheeky little white snicked face. She has big green eyes and a soft floofy fur that’s so touchable. We believe Mary wasn’t very well treated by whoever had her before us, as she can occasionally be fear reactive, but she has never bitten or scratched, just hissed and tried to run away. When she is comfortable, she likes to lie around and look decorative, purrs a lot and is extremely sweet and gentle.
Mary has really started to come out of her shell, she trots around the house chirping and playing soccer with her favourite toy, the rattle ball. She stands up on the cat tree and asks for pats, purring and pushing her head into your hand for love. She even snuck onto the foster carers bed the other night and got a cuddle!
Mary is still learning to trust people when she's picked up, but she doesn't try to get away any more. She's not a fan of the resident dog, giving him a warning growl if he gets too close, but other than that, she regally ignores him. He is, after all, a dog!
Mary needs to be with a person who understands her reactions and doesn’t take it personally, and she needs to live in a quiet, peaceful environment. Are you a patient person with a quiet home and huge cat loving heart looking for a special girl? Because we have the cat for you!
Medical notes
Mary is a healthy young cat. She's desexed, microchipped (#956000002702769), vaccinated and has been flea treated and wormed, ready to come home with you today!
