About Max
**FOSTER CARER REQUIRED OR ADOPTION INTEREST **
Max | Siberian Husky | 5 1/2 yr old
Located Victoria
If you’ve ever wanted to meet the George Clooney-esque silver fox of huskies, then we are delighted to introduce you to Max. Max is a gorgeous grey and white boy with blue eyes and some of the most stunning face markings we’ve seen in a long time.
A big smiler and a happy boy to boot, Max is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He’s simply a husky and, well, some of those smaller furry and feathered housemates look more like snacks than fellow pets.
Max is now looking for a home where he can let his husky self truly shine! He’s funny, silly, and loves to play with his people. He adores couch cuddles and thinks walks are better than anything.
Max isn’t a barker at all, but is happy be a chatty quiet howler when he’s playing with you.
Max is fine with, if a little indifferent to, kids and loves the company of adults. He’s good on lead after the initial excitement wears off, and is good with dogs his size or bigger. He’s not aggressive with people or dogs at all, but he does love a good party and doesn't know his own strength sometimes, so bigger kids and larger dogs are a great way for him to roll.
Max is deeply unimpressed with thunderstorms, and needs a safe space to hide in when the bad weather is afoot. The good news on that front is that he’s fully crate-trained and still chooses to sleep in a crate at night. He’s had basic obedience training, but there’s room for improvement, which he’d welcome.
Max is a chewer and goes through a new soft toy in about 5 minutes, and he can actually wear out an extreme kong. He’s not one for destroying household items, but he loves it when you go heavy in the toy department at the pet shop.
We know that Max is already a sweetheart and he will truly bloom in a home where he doesn’t have to be separated all the time from the two-and-four-legged smorgasbord that he shares a yard with. We’d love to see him shine!
In normal husky fashion, Max needs a home with 6ft dig-proof fences, no cats, chooks or pocket pets, and lots of love and exercise.
