About Prince Bahati
A delightful, well mannered Toy Poodle cross, Prince is very easy to live with and love a lot. He likes and responds very well to routine - feeding times, walks etc. Prince is happiest when at home, in the car or walking in the park with his pack.
He is quiet at home, not barking or reactionary to storms, the vacuum, the door bell or our noisy neighbours (2 cute schnauzers).
Prince is happy to be left home warm and comfortable in his bed and is always very pleased to greet us on our return.
He will cry loud and long when left at the vet or in an extreme circumstance, but not at home.
Prince is great with kids - he is very gentle and loves to be carried and have cuddles on the couch.
I have taught him to sit for his meals and not to jump on us - being a smart smart boy he learnt quickly. Prince is house trained and being a poodle, does not moult but will require grooming. He walks well on the lead and is not aggressive with other dogs of all sizes, but seems to prefer larger breeds. He does seem to be a little bossy with small dogs.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
