Edson is a gentle dog who is easy to fall in love with. He just really enjoys the simple things in life – a nice bed and being allowed inside to cool off when it’s hot, a belly rub, a run on the beach, playing with other little dogs, but most of all … affection. Edson loooves being stroked and cuddled and will lean his little head into your neck. He really loves being up on your lap, although he has learned quickly when it’s not ok and he has to get on his bed. In fact he is a fast learner in everything. He is one of those breeds that doesn’t really need lots of exercise and big runs, but of course deserves and enjoys to be taken out on walks and other exciting outings. https://youtu.be/L7rDYBmLV6I

He is not phased by other dogs, even much larger ones. He’s happy to tell them off if they get too fresh. He only seems to bark when there is something to bark at, and actually has a bark bigger than his size would suggest. Quite a good little alarm dog in alertness if not deterrent value! We’ve photoshopped a healing lesion on his forehead because we wanted to show what a gorgeous boy he truly is.

A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals if it means they have the opportunity to be adopted. Edson’s airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to QANTAS, and he can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
