ABOUT:
Beatrice is a very special little girl with the most amazing smoochy personality! She loves everyone and loves to spread her love around.
Beatrice is a Manx, and has very mild spina bifida, also known as “Manx syndrome”. It is very mild, and causes her to walk a little wonky, and sometimes she falls over if she moves to quickly. We call her our special needs kitty, but don’t tell her that because she has no idea she is different. She does absolutely everything the other foster kittens do – she climbs, jumps, plays, wrestles with the other kitties, and boy can this girl move!
The only special care Beatrice needs is some lactulose (which you buy from the chemist) a couple of times a week to stop her being constipated. She also needs to be a strictly indoor cat to keep her safe from outside dangers. Other than this she needs no special vet care, although it’s possible she may when she is older, which is something you would need to consider if you are considering making Beatrice a part of your family.
Beatrice has a very special place in the hearts of her foster carers due to her amazing personality.
MEDICAL NOTES: Beatrice has mild spina bifida and requires lactulose several times a week to help stop her getting constipated.
