About Tank ~ 1 year old Staffy (on trial 11/3/2018)
Tank is a 1 year old black male Staffy. He is great with people, although he is currently at a home with no kids. He loves to hang out, play with toys and balls and he especially loves pats and scratches.
Tank can keep himself occupied during the day if you are a full-time worker. He is not a barker or a digger and is happy to sleep either indoors or outdoors in a kennel. Tank has learnt simple obedience training and is learning more each day, he knows how to sit, come when called and patience when being fed.
Tank get a little nervous around other dogs and cats, making him perfect for a 1 dog home. He does not have any health or medical conditions, he is a very healthy happy fella.
Tank is a very calm and chilled out Staffy who loves being by your side, his ideal home is with someone who likes to play tug-of-war and spending time playing or just being around him.
For more information or to meet Tank, please contact his foster carer Darren on d_w005@icloud.com or 0402 869 576. Tank is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Tank’s adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
