On Hold
About Beresford is checking out his new home.
Although Beresford may seem big and boisterous on first glance, he’s really just a sweet, cuddly boy looking for a home of his own. He is super affectionate, and loves to be close to you always. He is enthusiastic and excitable when you arrive, but calms down quickly once the initial welcome is over.
Beresford gets along well with other dogs, and loves a canine cuddle nearly as much as his human ones. He likes to play with his toys and companions, adores his walkies, and enjoys taking the time to sniff all the wonderful smells around him. Beresford is an active boy, but he is also happy snoozing and quietly watching the world go by. He would like to live with another dog although his primary focus is attention from his people. Beresford really just wants to be amongst the action, and would love nothing more than to be able to curl up with you watching TV when you’re not out having adventures together. He only has eyes for the ones he loves.
He will also need someone who understands that Beresford  is still a puppy, and so sometimes does puppy things with occasional, minor slip ups as he learns. He is responsive to training and obedience, and lives for praise. He sits well, and is learning other commands. He just wants to show you what a good boy he can be! He will get even better with some guidance and consistency.
If you’re looking for an easy-going, loyal, and affectionate dog, then this is your boy. Beresford will make the perfect companion for the lucky person or family who already have a dog and have the space and time to give him the love he deserves in return.
Beresford's new home will be feline free.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
