About Ronnie
Ronnie; a tough strong willed little fella who is just looking for his own humans, one that can keep him social and friendly with everyone around him. Currently being in foster care with two other dogs, older than him he is learning the ropes of the world well from them. With a young playful female to play and wrestle with and an older wise male dog to learn the right manners and behaviours from.
Ronnie is confident and cheeky and just too adorable that he can sometimes try very hard to get his very own way. Being so playful and cuddly, he will NEED another dog in the household. One that can keep him grounded, social and also entertained when his humans are off doing those work related things. He will do best in a home that is experienced more with stubborn natured dogs, as he can sometimes forget how to correct his independence.
Being so human focused, he would do fine with some dog savvy kids. One that can play and interact with him daily and give him lots of cuddles and love. He will need to be allowed inside at night to be with his family, and he is currently doing well in the basic obedience and toilet training departments. He is currently being crate trained and doing well with adjusting to this at night time like the other dogs in the household. This isn't an essential for his adoption to be continued but can be highly recommended if the owners are interested in this training route.
He hasn't met any cats, poultry or pocket pets so we cant comment on how he would go in a home with these. He is currently adjusting to being left alone during the day when his foster parents at work and is doing well with this with the other two dogs of the household, but he has also been exposed to being taken to the work place and has shown to be able to entertain himself well with this idea too.
He will need safe and secure fencing in his new home, free from any gaps or holes and of at least 5ft in height, but he will also suit rural fencing if the household is willing to provide the correct introductions and training for this method.
Ronnie is located in the Newcastle region of NSW and his adoption fee is $450.
