About Dexter
If tall, dark and handsome is your type, then Dexter could be just the hound for you! A 3 year old Greyhound, Dexter is looking forward to spreading his love and happiness in his new home.
Dexter is a fun outgoing kinda guy and when he is happy to see you, he will get a little bounce in his step as he comes to greet you. A super cuddly boy, Dexter will lean in for a cuddle and put his head on your chest with contentment when you pat him.
He is a social kinda guy and likes to make other doggy friends. He doesn't mind if they are big or small - he likes them all and he loves to play with them. Dexter seems to be totally unfazed with cats and pocket pets and we believe that with a proper introduction he could be rehomed with them.
Dexter enjoys to be out and about and he has super nice lead manners. He shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety. Although he can startle with fast movements, he does settle quickly. We would recommend he be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks to ensure he is safe.
To help with Dexter's further training, we have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee.
Dexter would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Dexter will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly handsome man will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Dexter's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Dexter is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
