About Cypher
Hey it's nice to meet you! Will you let me love you?
My name is Cypher and I am one of the puppies that makes up OTC's Matrix Litter. I am a Mastiff cross Staffy and I already have very big feet! I was surrendered into care with my litter after our owners decided it was best to have a rescue rehome us. Our owners were struggling to find good homes for us and being stuck with my siblings all the time, we started to fight and fight. These fights caused big wounds on our little bodies and some of us developed yucky infections. So OTC stepped up and took us all in.
Now that we are in care, we are all very healthy. We've been on a good diet of premium food and some of us with the worst wounds have had a course of antibiotics and now our sores are all healed up!
Now you may see a big egg on my head! There is no need to worry about that at all. It has gone down in size so much already since being in care and having antibiotics that it will be gone in no time and I will have no long term effects or issues whatsoever!
I'm a cool little lad with a whole lot of love, and a whole lot of personality. I can just play all day and enjoy having someone to pay tug-o-war with. Hopefully my new home has a dog that loves tug just as much as me!
I am crate trained, so I sleep in a crate all night, and only wake in the morning to let you know i need to go to the toilet - how great is that.
I haven't been around cats yet but I just love kids. Despite being a cheeky puppy, I am very gentle and calm around kids, so maybe a young family is what is out there for me? I don't jump up and I know how to sit.
I have a quirky personality that will have you in stitches laughing. So what are you waiting for? Enquire about adopting me today!
Included in my adoption fee: - Vaccinations kept up to date while in care - Worm/tick/flea treatments kept up to date while in care - Starter pack of food - Desexing - Microchip implant and chip changed into your name - A small donation to OTC which helps keep them running! Adoption fees help cover the database, sanitation, transport and advertising fees to they can rescue more dogs.
Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
