About Piper
A green-eyed beauty with a lustrous black and white coat, Piper is seeking a peaceful lifestyle with a loving and patient single person or couple. Her sensitive nature means she can take a little while to come out of her gorgeous shell - but the wait is definitely worthwhile!
Once comfortable in her environment, sweet Piper makes an adorable (and adoring!) companion. She LOVES to play, and revels in the company of her humans - you'll often find her on your heels (or wrapped inquisitively around them) as you go about your daily tasks.
MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be quiet and secure, with a lovely sense of calm. I'm looking to be an indoor-only kitty with unfettered access to the sofa, bed and window sills! A safely enclosed balcony would also be a wonderful place for me to lounge about and watch the world go by.
I'll be perfectly matched to a couple or older person with no children or other pets. I'm currently in foster care with a wonderful young couple - their two-bedroom apartment is just the right size for the three of us.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: As a young cat, I certainly have my active moments, but I can also snooze with the best.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Unfortunately I'm not the best choice for a family home, especially with young kids, as I'm still learning my manners (and don't always realise how sharp my claws are!).
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I would be happiest as your only furry friend.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
