About Toby ~ 9 year old Maltese (on trial 16/2/2018)
Hi my name is Toby and I’m a 9 year old Maltese with a huge personality, full of vitality and in excellent health. I’m looking for a nice new mum to adopt me, I’m not so fond of boys and men so best keep them away.
I can be around children but keep an eye on me because Il nip them if they tease me. I’m not a barker I love lots of cuddles and I don’t pull on the lead. All I need is someone who’s home a lot and can give me a short walk and let me sleep on the bed. I’m sleeping in the laundry at the moment and I don’t mind that if it’s time for bed and everyone else is in bed too, but I would really love to snuggle up on the couch with my owner.
For more information or to meet Toby, please contact Susie on 0419634957 or suemasens65@hotmail.com. Toby is in foster care in Belmont North, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Toby’s adoption fee is $250 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
