Hey it's nice to meet you! Will you let me love you?
My name is Neo and I am one of the puppies that makes up OTC's Matrix Litter. I am a Mastiff cross Staffy and I already have very big feet! I was surrendered into care with my litter after our owners decided it was best to have a rescue rehome us. Our owners were struggling to find good homes for us and being stuck with my siblings all the time, we started to fight and fight. These fights caused big wounds on our little bodies and some of us developed yucky infections. So OTC stepped up and took us all in.
Now that we are in care, we are all very healthy. We've been on a good diet of premium food and some of us with the worst wounds have had a course of antibiotics and now our sores are all healed up!
My foster mum says I am a lover. I just love everything, especially my humans. I like to have a big play with the other dogs, and then of course get back to snuggling you, which is my absolute favourite thing.
I love nothing more than to chill out on the couch with you and watch TV. When I get older I will like to go on adventures with you, so you will have the best of both worlds with me.
I sleep outside with the big dogs because I am tough like that. I don't make any noise at night because I love having the other dogs as company. I also live with a cat AND I LOVE CATS SO MUCH. THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN. When I am not allowed to play with the cat, I am busy playing games with my foster brother.
Anyway, I am off to play now.Hope to be adopted by you soon xx love Neo
Included in my adoption fee: - Vaccinations kept up to date while in care - Worm/tick/flea treatments kept up to date while in care - Starter pack of food - Desexing - Microchip implant and chip changed into your name - A small donation to OTC which helps keep them running! Adoption fees help cover the database, sanitation, transport and advertising fees to they can rescue more dogs.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
