About Stanley
STANLEY is a quiet but affectionate young adult cat looking for a forever home. He was a bit nervous and skittish when I first fostered him but is slowly getting more and more confident and comfortable as time goes one. He loves to head butt and rub against your legs and also loves to get scratches around his head, neck and cheeks. He is quite independent and very easy to have around, but will also be affectionate and is showing signs he is ready to get quite attached to a special human of his own. He is very food motivated and smart and therefore easy to train. He is still quite playful and very comfortable around dogs, even playing with them.
Stanley belonged to a young woman who moved overseas for several years for a work opportunity. She made arrangements for her roommates / tenants to look after him in her absence but they can no longer do so and have since moved on, leaving Stanley all alone. No one in Stanley’s life had the ability to take him in and I’ve come to know him through a work colleague.
