About Tiah ~ Cattle dog x Kelpie (on trial 23/3/2018)
Meet Tiah, she is a Cattle Dog x Kelpie and 12 weeks old. Tiah is a smoocher and loves cuddles and snuggles, she is playful and loves chasing a ball. She is all ears and is very attentive, she will no doubt grow into her ears as she gets older.
Tiah would love a family that likes a good trip to the beach or to a park. She would love to be included in your family life.
Her temperament and behaviour will be shaped by how you raise and train her. Tiah has loads of puppy love to give. She loves to snuggle into the warmth of my human family.
I'm Tiah is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She hasn't had the chance to meet a lot of furfriends as she is still too little but when she gets older, she'll love it! Tiah would really love to have another dog and/or kids to play with as she will be so playful!
Tiah will grow up to be a medium sized dog. She will be intelligent, eager, alert, energetic, friendly and loyal.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Tiah. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Tiah needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps.
Tiah's sister Texx available for adoption.
As Tiah is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
