About Blackie
Meet Blackie
Blackie was found as a stray. As he had had no human contact he was extremely frightened and timid on arrival.
Blackie is now feeling much more confident around humans. He now greets me with a meow instead of a hiss. He does purr, loves pats, rubs up against you and meows if he doesn’t know Where you are. He is a real smoochy type of cat. He loves to play.
Blackie has a beautiful silky black coat with a white patch on his chest.
As Blackie is still learning his confidence around people he would be best suited to an indoor home with one or two adults who can continue bringing him Out of his shell as he will definitely be a little timid when he first moves to his forever home.
Blackie will be microchipped and have had his 1st vaccination. He is litter trained and has been wormed and flea treated. His desexing cost is covered under the adoption fee at an approved DCH vet.
Blackie is located near Penrith. Please contact his foster carer for a meet and greet of this lovely boy.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
