Rocky ~ 1 year old Cattle Dog (on trial 1/3/2018)

Hi! My names Rocky and I’m a 1-year old male Cattle dog. I have so much love to give and cannot wait to find my forever family to share it all with them.

I’m getting along well with my foster brothers, they sure are fun to play with! We run around in the backyard all day. I will need a large back yard for me to play around in.

My foster parents say I’m great on the leash and don’t pull. I’m very interested in my surroundings when we go for a walk and I’m not that road aware but I’m still learning.

I would love for my forever family to have a brother or sister for me to play with, as all I want to do is play! However, I would also be fine being the only dog so I can get all of the attention. As I am a Cattle Dog, I am full of energy and I would need my forever family to be active and walk me a lot. I would also like a human that is going to give me as much love as I have to give. I am constantly wanting to be patted and I give the best cuddles ever! As soon as someone makes eye contact with me you can guarantee I’m taking that as an invitation for some love!

My foster family have a doggy door so I have been able to come and go at night time but I always go to my preferred spot on the floor at the end of the bed or on my dog bed, as long as I get a cuddle before bed time! So far, I know how to sit on command however I am more than willing to learn some more tricks as I am very smart. I am not known to bark unless I see someone out the front, then I let my foster mum know what’s going on.

My foster parents only have fur baby children, no human children but I really enjoy pats and affection from the children that live next door. They also say that I’m very gently and I don’t knock them over if I occasionally jump up to give them a kiss.

I am such a sweet, loving, affectionate and loyal boy and I’m so excited to find my forever family.

Rocky’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
