About Princess Diana
Princess Diana came into foster care in a very remote part of the NT. We think she was living in a home with a lot of dogs and was intimidated so went looking for a calmer environment.
She is gentle, a little timid and shy and oh so pretty. She is still sharing with dogs of all shapes and sizes in foster but wants to stay close to her foster carer.
Princess will need to learn to walk on lead and other basic commands as is the case with most dogs that we re home from remote communities so would thrive on training.
We estimate she is no more than 2yrs old and is a slim dog on the smaller side of medium depending on your interpretation of size. We never have any idea of breed.
She has probably had contact with children, dogs but we are not confident about placing her with cats.
Princess Diana will fly from Alice Springs to foster care in Melbourne and be in foster care in Mirboo Nth, Gippsland.
She will be de sexed, microchipped, vaccinated and parasite treated.
Adoption details
Who makes up your family including ages of children?
If you do not own your home do you have written permission for a dog?
Have you had a dog before and when?
How long would the dog be alone for each day and during these times how would you prevent pup from becoming lonely and bored?
(Most of our dogs have never been without dog or human company so may take a while to get used to being left long hours alone. So leaving just toys might not be sufficient)
Where will the dog sleep at night?
Please add any information that indicates you understand the needs and behaviours of dogs, especially when young
And only inquire when you are ready to take a pup home at the time of the "meet and greet" e.g. have puppy proofed your home, purchased everything you need and all decision makers are present.
Thank you
