Meet Duke, a beautiful middle aged man who loves to be loved and shown affection.
Duke is very placid and is happy to find a lovely spot in the yard to relax and enjoy the sunshine. And if you add in a belly rub he will be quite content to sit there as long as the pats keep coming.
He has lived his life outside so is still getting use to toilet training but if you have easy access to the outdoors, it will make the training easier.
Duke likes meeting new people and enjoys the company of other dogs. He is also good with gentle children.
He doesn’t really understand what toys are about but loves running around in the yard with another dog or humans.
Duke will need to continue having monthly injections for his arthritic knees.
Duke is great on a lead and loves a walk. He tends to pull a little bit because he just wants to run around and investigate everything new.
Duke would suit a quieter household, maybe an older couple who either has another little dog or grandchildren that visit, to play with him.
Duke is ready for his new home and deserves to live out his days being pampered and loved.
