About Prancer
Prancer dancer here,
I finally have escaped the pound and found have taken my first step into find my foster home. I arrived at my foster home and was very excited to meet my new foster siblings it took me a while to get use to the stairs and the fact that I can go inside but I have now got the hang of it. I really like the other dogs they are lots of fun to play with my favourite game is tug of war with them.
I am still unsure about food time I love my new raw food but I am still very unsure if I am allowed to eat it when it is put in front of my and my foster parents have to sit with me on the floor until I have eaten it all otherwise I walk away, I am getting better at this and should be able to eat on my own in no time.
I haven’t had much training in the past but I am eager to learn and have already mastered sit and weight. I am very well behaved my foster parents are yet to hear a pep out of me even if the other dogs are going crazy.
I spend my days playing out side when my foster parents away and inside when they are home. I am very good inside I just like to lie down as close to my foster parents as possible and sleep.
I sleep on a doggy bed inside the house with the other foster puppies. I am great with other dogs but I haven’t met any children or cats yet but I am so chill I am sure with proper introduction I will be awesome.
I can’t wait to finally find my forever family that will give me all the love I am missed in my short life.
Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
