Lana

Lana is affectionate, sweet, intelligent, active and keen to please.

Lana might be tiny but no one told her!
She’s a great guard dog, loooves her people. Views all strangers with fearful suspicion and thinks kids are boring and scarey.

She’s good with cats, car travel and grooming. She’s living with other dogs but insists on being in charge. For this reason she would be better off as an only dog. Plus she just wants a best human friend who is all hers and she is all theirs.

She does bark at other dogs when being walked.

She’s housetrained and sleeps quietly through the night.

She needs a daily walk and loves training with treats as motivation.

She’s a bit of a brat but she’s also one of the funniest, most endearing dogs I’ve met. She’s had an abusive history and takes a while to learn to trust. For this reason she needs a home where the people won’t expect her to socialise with strangers or children, and with people who have the patience to let her decide when she wants to be friends in the beginning. She doesn’t make friends instantly it takes time for her. Once she does though she’s a shadow and loyal protector of her person!
