💕 Lucy Lu is a special girl in need of an extra special home 💕

Lucy Lu has had a rough past and we are unsure of most of it. She was handed into a shelter after she was found wandering in a poor condition. She joined the Happy Tails family as the stress of a shelter was too much for this old soul. After many vet visits and tests, it is suspected that Lucy Lu was once hit by a car or involved in an accident that crushed her pelvis. Unfortunately, surgery was not an option as it has healed incorrectly but she is on daily pain relief. She does not like to be handled around her back end and can become a cranky girl if you pick her up. This is also affects her toileting routine but she loves to eat her cat lax treat every second day. She is vision impaired but surprisingly finds her litter tray and bowls perfectly.

Besides her medical issues, Lucy Lu is a very sweet and affectionate senior girl. She love love LOVES chin scratches and will push your hand to give her more. She’s a chatty catty and loves to be involved in what’s going on. You wouldn’t know that she is elderly by the way she waddles around and rules the house. She settles quite quickly and will be trying to hop into your lap in no time. She loves to sleep on your lap or chest while you watch TV but she can get a bit moody if you try to move her.

Lucy Lu has clearly had a rough life and she is desperately looking for that special family that will make her twilight years golden.
