About Nala ~ Staffy x Lab puppy (on trial 19/2/2018)
Meet Nala who is a 4 month old Staffy x Lab girl. Nala is a sweet little girl who was surrendered with her two brothers. She is a quick learner and is rapidly picking up walking on a lead, housetraining and basic commands. Nala can use a doggy door and happily sleeps in a crate overnight.
Nala is a friendly girl and gets so excited that she does jump up, but is quickly learning that she gets more attention when she sits. She would benefit from a home committed to continuing training.
Nala would love a family who incorporates her into their lives from cuddles inside to weekend adventures. She would need to be welcome inside while her humans are at home and to sleep inside until at least until fully grown. Nala will grow to be a medium sized dog.
Nala can get a bit upset when her humans leave, so would benefit from a fur friend to keep her company.
Nala loves to follow her humans around the house and get along well with other dogs. We are unsure about cats and pocket pets.
As Nala is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Nala, please contact send the adoption questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx to her foster carer Melissa on melissapollo64@gmail.com. Nala is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
Nala’s adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.
Medical notes
Happy and healthy dog.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
