About Bessie
NEED URGENT HELP – FOSTER CARE OR ADOPTION.
No other dogs because Bessie is in need of rehabilitation.
No cats
Hi my name is Bessie. Sadly I need a new home or foster care ASAP, reason being is that I got very sick and ended up in hospital, they did all sorts of tests on me and eventually had to open my stomach up to find I had a corn cob stuck in my belly :( Because the operation was only done late Saturday night I still need to be kept calm and someone to keep an eye on me.
I don’t like female dogs which is common but I don’t mind boys 😉 also I don’t like cats.
I’m good with children and house trained.
Not much is known about me other than what has been said. SRV will get a behavioural assessment done as soon as I’m up to it.
If you think you can care for me until I’m better please send in an adoption application and put BESSIE FOSTER where it asks which dog you’re interested in. A crate will be provided by SRV until I’m better.
Or if you think you can offer me a good forever home which I would prefer, where you’ll be able to give me all the above and in return, I’ll give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for! Please go to www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au where you’ll find the Adoption Application. Please make sure you read all the information on the Adoption page, as well as the links at the bottom.
Medical notes
Needs care after corn cob was removed from her stomach.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
