Benji is the most loving boy you’ll ever meet. He is everybody’s best friend as long as you promise to give him endless belly rubs and head scratches.

Benji is happy to be around breeds of dogs that are around his size or smaller. He isn’t a fan of bigger energetic dogs that will be in his face. Benji is fairly quiet, he doesn’t play with toys, but would rather sit on the couch next to you and be a big part of the family.

Benji loves children and is very gentle with them. He rarely jumps up so is unlikely to bowl anyone over in excitement.

Benji has been around rabbits & Guinea pigs and he is fairly interested in them, he has never been left unattended with them or been allowed to run around without them being safely in an enclosure. Benji hasn’t met a cat whilst in care so we are unsure how he would be with them.

Benji loves to go for walks and is very easy to walk, he never pulls and doesn’t bark at other dogs.

In general the only time Benji cry’s or barks is if he is left outside when you’re inside or vice versa. If you’re at home, he will want to be your shadow and be wherever you are. When left at home alone he is fine and will most likely just lay on the couch and sleep, he is not a destructive dog.

Benji sometimes has accidents inside the house if he doesn’t have access to outside, so ideally he would be able to be inside whenever he wants and then take himself outside when he needed to go.

Benji is a very special boy and needs a very loving home where he will be showered with lots of attention, belly rubs & pats.
