About Gus
This little cutie is Gus.
Gus is a cheeky boy who is always looking for his new adventure before it is time for his next puppy nap. He is currently in care with his little sister Grace and has 2 foster brothers who he loves spending his play time with.
Gus is very intelligent and is already showing that he is a fast learner and is trying his best to be a good boy to get lots of reward and praise from his foster carers. His carers have started some basic training with him. He is currently learning to sit and to wait when his food is being prepared for him. He is catching on quickly and learning some simple skills so he can impress his new family with just how clever he is.
As a typical pup, chewing is still a lot of fun for Gus. Keeping valuable items out of reach will be recommended and replaced with lots of toys and puzzles to distract his attention and keep his busy mind occupied
While Gus and Grace have been in our care, they have been living indoors to receive lots of social time with their humans. They love their cuddles and to curl up with their people and the resident dogs for a nap before play time begins again. His carers are currently working on his toilet training. This is something Gus hasn't yet mastered although he is slowly catching on and we think he will get the idea of going outside very soon.
Gus is confident around larger dogs and is always up for a wrestling match with them and his sister. He will be looking for a home where he will have a very active desexed doggy companion of similar size and breed to spend his days with and to offer him continue guidance and teach him important boundaries as he grows. *Homes without another dog will not be considered*.
GUS AND GRACE WILL BE LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES
Considering Gus' active breed, he will only be suitable to a home with acreage or a large back yard where he will have plenty of room to move as he gets bigger. He will be very active and being an intelligent breed, he will require a lot of mental stimulation to prevent him becoming bored and possibly destructive. Regular walks and social outings will be important for his development and obedience training or agility will be a great way for Gus to work off some of his stored up energy and keep his busy mind active.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
