Zeus

Introducing Zeus a very handsome border collie x kelpie boy approximately 1-2 years of age.

Zeus is seriously smoochy, he wants nothing more than to be by your side receiving pats and cuddles or with his head in your lap.

Sadly he hasn’t had the best start in life so some things still startle him. He is slowly growing in trust and confidence since he has come into care and is receiving lots of the love and kindness he so deserves.

Zeus’ recall is excellent, he is in care on a farm where he thinks its ok to chase stock but comes back immediately when he is called and he doesn’t go off looking for adventure, he likes to stay close to home and his human.

He plays really well with other dogs, large and small and travels calmly and well in the car although he does need to be lifted in.

Zeus has a lack of pigmentation (mild lupus) around his nose and will need a home with plenty of shade and shelter for him to have reduced exposure to the sun and will require daily application of suitable sunscreen.

He is a lovely friendly boy and is great with children, he is still quite jumpy but in a very gentle way.

Zeus hasn’t been exposed to cats so not sure what his reaction to them would be and he has been fine with the chickens on the other side of the fence but hasn’t been exposed to free ranging with them.

There have been no containment issues, he hasn’t tried to jump out (only 1.2m fences) nor dig nor been destructive and his housetraining (toileting) is going well.
He is a really lovely boy who deserves to find his forever home, if you’d like to know more put in an application and have a chat to his carer.
